Job Boards With Similar Names. - 9/3/2008

If it sounds like FitnessJobs.com, but isn't FitnessJobs.com, it's not FitnessJobs.com!

The old saying Imitation is the best form of flattery certainly holds true here. After 10 years in business we knew eventually some people would try to compete with us using similar names. Please beware and do not get confused. There is only one FitnessJobs.com, and we don't go by any other version of our name other than FitnessJobs.com.

Here are a few reasons we have had such great success and it would make it extremely difficult for a new start-up to duplicate:

1. Our name: FitnessJobs.com.
2. We have been in business for 10 years with 40,000+ unique visitors (different people), coming to our site every month.
3. We are Ranked # 1 on Google, organically. Not an easy feat for any business.
4. We market extensively towards job seekers: Online, direct mail, trade journal ads and press releases.
5. Almost all of the top brands in the industry use FitnessJobs.com. We have thousands of customers across all vertical markets in our industry.
6. 77% of our customers get great results and determine FitnessJobs.com is an EXCEPTIONAL VALUE.
7. My 35+ years experience in the industry has fueled our growth.
8. Our new sites, as part of The Career Collection add even more VALUE for our customers. Our unlimited job posting subscriptions are good on all of our sites.

My advice, when you get an offer from a job board that sounds like FitnessJobs.com, make sure it is, FitnessJobs.com, not a similar sounding business. We are sorry for the confusion.
